How to repair solar cover seam?

This is a fairly new solar cover. One of the seams is coming undone. It's not clear to me what the manufacturer used to originally piece together the strips of solar blanket.

Anyone have advice?

I'm thinking of using gorilla glue and clear gorilla tape.

I think these are heat fused, or ultrasonically welded together at the factory. I would try vinyl patch glue I think. That, or some other backyard engineering will likely have to do. I don't think the tape will last too long, but I'm skeptical.
