Hey all!

I am the new guy here today. Our 11.5K gallon pool is currently being built. Gunite is done, electrical is done, plumbing is almost done. Next up, coping and tile. I am looking forward to LOTS of learning here and thank you in advance!

I'll also echo the test kit recommendation. You're somewhat handicapped in that the builder usually puts all kinds of conditions on the plaster startup, but as soon as possible, you need to take control of the water chemistry. It'll save you hundreds of dollars in chemicals and untold wasted weekends dealing with pool problems if you rely on the pool store.
