    Fitting Mystery

I am trying to figure out what this is called or where I find a replacement for this old cracked fitting. It is located in the concrete just by the stairs of my in ground pool. It is connected to the pump return jets at the stairs.20160425_141246.jpg20160425_141252.jpg

Could be an air venturi for a return jet.

I too was thinking it might be a valve to control the amount of air that can be sucked in through a venturi.
