My Fiberstars fiber optic perimeter light has discoloration in two different areas. Each spot is about 3 to 4 feet in length. The discoloration started about 5 years ago and has gradually gotten worse. The PVC clear tube that the fiber optic strands are encased in started turning a brownish color. I have tried cleaning with a sidewall cleaner with no effect. I can scrape the discoloration off somewhat with substantial effort. Most of the light cover has hardened and turned opaque.
What are the recommendations for resolving this issue?
