Gauge stuck

When my pump is off, the gauge reads 10psi. Turning on the pump and the pressure raises to 25psi.

Should I replace the gauge or just go with it for the season?

You should replace it. You never know when its gonna permenently stick.
They aren't expensive at all.
I recommend the gauge which is sold on TFtetkits.net websitesite. It glycerine filled and very well built. None of that cheap plastic stuff. The scale on the gauge is much more defined to. Its only about 12 or 13 dollars.

I have one and absolutely love it.

I agree you should replace it with a quality gauge, the ones the pool companies sell are bottom of the line junk, very inaccurate and prone to failure.

I did buy one here last year to replace the one that came with the filter.

Expected it to last more than one year!

Could you post a pic of it? There might be something that the folks here can spot.

If it is a new quality gauge you may want to unscrew it and see if the stem is clogged
