Ball bearings in my pump's strainer basket?!?

Today, I found 6 ball bearings in my pump's strainer basket.

I am new to pool ownership and I have never seen this before.

My first thought was they are from kid toys but I the kids don't have any toys with ball bearings.

So, who can solve this mystery and figure out how the ball bearings got into my pump's strainer basket?

I added the penny in the photo to show size of ball bearings. Thank you for your help!

    Is there a prize?

My guess is your Hayward Pool Vac has lost some of its bearings.. I have no experience with the Hayward, but looking on-line it shows a turbine kit that appears to have several bearings about that size.

I know my older Dolphin had about 8 or 10 wheels for the belts to ride on, and they all had individual ball bearings.
