Pool Reopening Stain

We have a Tahoe Blue pebble tec finish. Water lowered 1 ft and we have a stain at that level all the way around the pool. What is easiest way to make it go away. Scrubbing with a brush does not seem to do much

Gotta figure out what "kind" of stain first. If you have one, try rubbing one of those chlorine pucks on it and see what happens. If nothing, try rubbing some cheapo crushed up Vitamin C tabs on an area and report back. Welcome to the forum.

The stain is result of the leaves that end up getting under the pool cover - heavily wooded area.

The two tests Woody talked about above are still needed before we can really tell what the best next thing should be.

Leaves equal organic stains so a puck or two should let you know for sure.

If a puck lightens the stain then holding your chlorine elevated, like halfway between target and shock level for your CYA, Chlorine CYA Chart and brushing daily or more often will clear up the stain in a couple of weeks or three.
