Can I work on balancing the FC, TA, etc. before getting the salt level to the proper level in my just-opened pool? I have a SWG but am leaving it off until I get the proper salt level (and using bleach to add chlorine) but I am raising the salt level slowly so I don't overshoot. The amount of salt in the water shouldn't matter to the other chemistries unless the SWG is running, right?
