Hanging a rectangular Intex Ultra Frame Pool directly from the pool deck

I did cutouts where there were already holes for the legs. Otherwise it was impossible to know were to pierce the liner.

looks nice!! what are you using for side supports, sense the walls of the pool will bulge as it fills with water?

I don't think it needs side support. If that was true you would see the beams inside of the pool and you don't

no. the beams outside the pool are to help support the sides and keep it from bulging.

Interesting. I was really wondering how that was going to work. Looking forward to seeing it fill! Hopefully you are able to show us a pic of what it looks like full from under the deck.
I filled it with 4 inches of water to start get rid of the wrinkles. But it's really difficult. Does anyone have a trick?

I had a few people barefoot in the pool making kicking motions with outside of foot against the wall. That was quite effective. Got rid of all the wrinkles that way.
yah you have to kick out the wrinkles before you put water in it. or use a pool brush to help knock them out. the weight of the water will make it impossible to get the wrinkles.

I now empty all the water to get the wrinkles out. This is how I strech the liner

you're gonna need some supports for those walls when it fills. they're gonna bulge out.

The Ultra Frame pools do not have wall supports. It is designed to bulge out.
They have supports for the top cord -- the volume and mass of the pool water give stability to the walls. This really doesn't have a top cord, but it does sort of. I'm most concerned about the corners.

I dont know where to buy that one in Europe, but i was recommended to buy the Scuba 2 testkit. It can also be bought in Sweden.

4 inches of water was too much. 2 inches is better to work with. I can't wait to see how this looks and holds up!
