Suction Cleaners

We just put in a pool about two years ago to the date and already need to purchase a new pool cleaner. The builder installed a Zodiac MX6 but it just could not handle the debris that was required due to the huge oak tree that was in the area. It is no longer there, we just had it cut. I am looking to purchase a new suction cleaner and would like to hear from others on which one they would recommend. Should we go back with the MX8?

Hi Damian! Haven't forgotten about you. Going to give this thread a quick to get it back to the top of the que for other members to see better. I'm old-school manual labor so I have no comment.

I like my PoolCleaner ... whatever you use, make sure you have a leaf canister in the hose line. I have the Zodiac Cyclone one which can pack up a remarkable amount of debris.

ThePoolCleaner and the newer copy cats are much simpler that the MX8 and I think required less water flow to work allowing me to divert more suction to the skimmer.
