    Mosaic tiles with a dark pebble finish?

    Has anybody successfully had mosaics added to your sunshelf or anything with a dark pebble plaster? Or even the toe steps? How do they show up?


    Started 5/31/16. 38'x23', 618 sqft., <14,000 gallons, 8' spa.Travertine coping. Raised beam w/3 sheers. Large sunshelf w/3 bubblers. SWG IC40, Pentair VSP, 520 cartridge, color LED lights, Easy-touch, screen logic, Maytronics S300i robot, and Wet Edge Prism Matrix finish (Deep Sea Blue with Indigo plaster).     I would think iridescent tiles would look great and give you the bling you want for your step markers

    I tried to see on Spool's pool since that's the plaster we're looking at but I couldn't see anything actually in his plaster. Just those beautiful light streams tiles on his spa. I saw some iridescent fish today but they were small and $$$.

    Mosaics on sunshelf look amazing. I mean a full mosaic...not just a step line.
    Geometric pool with all Pentair equipment. Raised spa - 18" with Artic Lagoon 1" glass tiles. 3HP VS Pump, 2 skimmers, 6 returns, IC40 Salt system, Easy Touch 8 with LED color light in pool and spa. 1200 sqft of Marble White Pavers decking in Versailles pattern.     IG ~12000 gallon 1988 freeform pool with IG spa, Hayward equip, Ecostar pump. Remodel done: NPT Arctic 1x2 tile in Lagoon w/ gray thinset & Light Pewter grout, French Gray PebbleSheen w/ grey fittings, Leuders buff eased edge limestone coping w/ Light Buff mortar, buff mastic
