If it is not pouring out, I might not worry about it for now.
Assuming there is enough pipe right above the pump, you might be able to cut the pipe right in the middle and fit a union in there. You may also need to cut the pipe going down to the filter and add fitting or another union there to keep the spacing correct. Once cut out, unscrew the fitting from the pump, clean it up, put some teflon paste on the threads and screw it back in. Put the unions on and hope you stopped the leak. If not, remove the unions and try again.
