AGP Cleaner - for those with IGP pool pumps

Since I have a Hayward Super pump I was thinking of buying a cleaner for the first time. I saw another person here on TFP state he had a Hayward AquaNaut and it was working great for him.

My thoughts: Would an IGP cleaner like the Hayward AquaNaut or any other IGP suction cleaner tear my vinyl liner?

I have the suction side "pool cleaner" and it is for inground and above ground pools and works great for my vinyl pool... I also have an inground 1hp pump..
