Replacing older SR Smith Flyte Deck and diving board - bolt hole spacing differs.

We bought our house a few years ago with an older pool and diving board. We replastered the pool last season (sandblasted down to the original concrete which was in perfect shape) and held off replacing the diving board until now. It had a very old SR Smith Flyte Deck and 8' board. Purchased them new online and got down to the actual replacement last night. Rusted nuts came off surprisingly easily and the bolts/jig were in otherwise perfect shape. The old Flyte Deck was actually in good shape but showed its age on the exterior finish. HOWEVER, the new Flyte Deck has the same 3-hole configuration (2-rear and 1 forward) but the forward bolt hole is 1-3/4" further from the old location. Big pain in the butt and an FYI to anyone considering this swap.
