Makes me wonder how they even cut the stuff?!? Expensive?

It is in hobby size pieces. Never seen it as construction sized lumber.

Decision made! We are going with choicedek. Should be delivered in two weeks. Now to figure out how to remove the old decking since the screw holes are painted over with restore.

I got a piece of Brazillian Walnut (aka IPE) from lumber liquidators a while back. It was part of an old pallet. It cuts just fine on my jobsite tablesaw with a carbide blade.

I've never seen it for sale though. It would be an imported would, so surely expensive. Purpleheart is another that would probably work just as well, and it's definitely expensive.
