Salt testin

In the process of a slam so SWG us off now.

Looking at my Goldline electronic salt tester and have questions,

I do not have any demonized water or calibration standard to calibrate.
Do I really need them or can I use tap water. Tested at the tap and it read.10ppt.

Pool read the 1.20ppt.

Would bounce it against my SWG but the LED is only showing partial letters. Will need to look into that as well

We usually just use the salt water drop test here, it is much more accurate and you don't need to calibrate is this the one your talking about?
