My first slam. I got this!

Tried to wait out the pollen and oak tree squiggly things so I waited a little too late to take off the cover. Heartbroken to see some algae forming. Started my slam yesterday and following the directions to a T. It's going great. Hoping I'll pass the OCLT tonight. Amazing how fast the algae eats the chlorine up. Starting to hold now. The send pic is carriage lights the hubs put up for me yesterday.

Thanks Texas...still tons to do. As soon as SLAM is done I have an AA treatment to do!

They look awesome....I have identical ones on the other side also. Won't have to even turn the pool light on to swim at night. I put 40 watt bulbs in so its not too bright.

Also.....jumping for joy. Finished the SLAM. Passed all three criterias!!! And of course it's suppose to storm tomorrow night which means I will have the whole cities junk in my pool...
