New pool questions

I am just starting to choose the equipment to go with a new pool.
So to start of it will be a 15-x-26-ft-oval
Hayward1.5-hp-turbo-flo-ii-2spd pump
Hayward X-tream Cartridge filter

Since I was wanting to get the pool pump and filter from one source I feel that these are my best options but maybe I am missing something.
Other questions that I have are is one skimmer sufficient or would 2 be beneficial? also how many return lines should I have to have proper circulation?

Welcome to TFP. Pump looks good. If you can swing it, go with the biggest filter you can afford to cut down on cleaning.

2-speed pump is good
I was going to suggest a 150+ sqft filter ... so that is good too

One skimmer should be fine (put it on the predominantly downwind side of the pool). Likely 2 return jets should be enough as well to get the water circling.
