Green pool liner

First of all let me say hello to everyone! First time pool owner/poster to this site.
I've recently purchased a house w/ an above ground 20,000 gallon pool. Started the opening process a week ago and everything is going fine. Killed/removed all algae, water is clear,chemical numbers are all good. The only thing is the green stain on the walls and floor of the pool. Did the vitamin c test and it did clear the stain where the tablet was. My question, is there a way to clean the liner without draining the pool? Bought some metal free from Leslie's (which I am quickly learning to stay away from that place!!) that didn't do much of anything. Any suggestions??

Sounds like it could be metal stains. And you need to do an ascorbic acid treatment. There are articles in pool school for that.

Although kind of rare I think for vinyl to get stained by metals.
