Hey! So, I bought a house with an abandoned pool. 25k gallons. After renting a mud pump (there was some nasty stuff!) and repairing the skimmer leak, I'm ready for setting up the saltwater system. The pump is fine, and I've replaced the sand in the filter. Now my question is;
I've been looking at systems, and for a lot cheaper I can buy two units for a above ground pool than a unit for an in-ground.
Has anyone ran an in-ground pool wits an above ground system?
I have heard about taking out the copper element, and I plan to.
Also, I was thinking about possibly running two units in series if it'll help. I don't even know if it'll work, but that's why I'm asking you guys! If anyone has experience with trying this out, please let me know!
And yes, I do realize that "if it was that easy, everyone would do it." Just looking for input!
