Hi
I have a question about the plumbing on my pool? its was just put in last year and they used plastic ball valves with the plastic handles. Was wondering if i can replace them with brass or metal ball valves? I thought i saw somewhere on here not to use metal. the handles have broken off and they are hard to shut.
thanks
jim

I would avoid using any metal. Metal can corrode quickly if your chemistry isn't perfect. The better quality plastic valves last nearly forever. Jandy valves are the best, but many of the less expensive brands also hold up reasonably well.
