Does anyone have any experience with this one? Is it any better (internal parts) than previous models? I know it has more features but will it last?

Not sure on that one Ned, perhaps someone with that model will see this and add something.
I've had one for two years. First motor block leaked and was covered under warranty . Replacement motor went down from a leak last fall, not under warranty . I'm looking for a replacement, nuff said ? Other than that the unit has a good design and cleans well...when it works
I bought this model at the first of the year and have used it several times since. We are in the spring water oak leaf shedding season here in SW Georgia and our pool, which is open year round, gets a lot of debris. This cleaner works very well. It has a big debris collection box which is one reason I bought it. Following storms, it has been filled on two occasions this spring. So far, so good, I could not be happier. Its has a 2 year warranty, and I hope I don't need it.
