Considering Using Sider Crete Pool Finish Coating

Wondering if anyone can provide some insight on this product I am considering. I bought a home with a concrete pool and the marcite coating is rough in texture causing the kids feet to literally bleed after a day of swimming. The texture also allows algae to grab hold making it difficult to clean. The bond on marcite looks good but I will sound check when I drain pool.

Look into ecoFinish. It is a thermal plastic finish and is a longterm fix

Doesn't look like something I can tackle as a DIY project when seeing the torch application sprayer. Nearest installer of product 109 miles away
