I have a question related to T-cell replacement. Some listings on Ebay mention that Aqua Rite box should have a firmware revision 1.50 or newer in order to fit with the new cell.

Is it true?

Welcome to TFP!

If it says it needs 1.50 or newer, then the cell will only work with those revs.

T-15 works with any revision. T-9, T-5 and T-3 have to be the 1.50 or later revision.
