Question regarding wiring and timer for a 2 speed pump.

Right now I have an intelliflo hooked up to a manual timer. the booster pump is also connected to a manual timer. I'm getting quotes tomorrow to replace the broken intelliflo and go with a 2 speed pump. Will the timer have to be replaced? Will any other wiring have to be done? Thanks.

An intelliflo has an internal timer so what does the manual timer do? In short I am not understanding. You can use a Intermatic T106 timer for a pool 2 speed.
