I've been taking care of my pool for 18 years, give or take.
It was a honeycombed gunite wreck by the time we resurfaced it 5-6 years ago, replaced the sand filter and added a dedicated pump Polaris 380 cleaner. Several years of bliss ensued. Then reality gradually took back over.
I rebuilt the Polaris twice and replaced it's pump once. Now it mostly bumps in a corner whatever I do. I don't think it's got another rebuild in it.
The pool pump motor burned up recently and i replaced it, but the seal they sent was wrong and the diffuser O-ring. I got a new seal, but no O-ring. And that's why I'm writing this.
