I am rebuilding the wet side of a Hydramax II http://www.poolzoom.com/leslie-s-hydramax-ii-pump-parts.html but have run into a small snag.
The currently installed impeller is a SPX3007C (3/4 HP "full rate" - 1HP Max). But the motor that is installed is a 1HP motor (AO smith "7-184981-23" - This motor seems like the identical replacement - http://www.inyopools.com/Products/07501352022109.htm
Should I use the same impeller that is currently installed (not sure if it is factory or was rebuilt by prior homeowner) or should I get the SPX3010C (1 HP "full rate" - 1.5 HP Max)?
