Wanted to post some pictures of my pool stains to get some opinions as well as the previous post, thanks in advance for any ideas.

this post from a couple days ago to help give it some visibility. Even with the nice clear water, I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at. The steps do have an uneven discoloration about them, but I would not expect them to be metals related in your area. Typical city-provided water source I suppose? Have you ever added anything thing odd to your pool (pool store chemical product) in the past (algaecides)? While the water looks crystal, a full set of test results might help us try and answer. At the very least, it may rule-out some things.
