On Saturday I replaced my spa light bulb, in the process of putting everything back together I broke the tab inside that the screw on top of the housing screws into. So the only thing really holding it in place is the the little metal bracket at the bottom. Is this going to be an issue? Can I replace it or fix it?

I'm just curios, if I didn't want to use the wedge, what are my options? Could I possibly replace the entire ring inside?

There is a light ring that you can plaster in over the existing one. Best results occur when you re-plaster the whole pool. Then it looks as if there was no repair done.

The best solution I've ever used is an adapter made by Mac Manufacturing. They're a bit hard to find and kind of expensive at about $120 wholesale, but the result is rock solid. I've used them a few times with perfect results.
