Atlas Pool Putty - underwater Expoy question

Anybody have any experience with underwater epoxy? I tried the JB weldstick underwater stuff from Lowes, it didn't stick to the plaster.

I need to glue the retaining ring (plastic) for my light to the plaster. This stuff seems to be designed for it, but I figured I'd ask before throwing another $30 in the water-hole (the boat is the hole-in-the-water LOL!)

Or, anyone else have a different option? I'm game.

If you epoxy the retaining ring, will you be able to change the light?

Yes - the light clips to the retaining ring.
