Question Getting bids in Cypress, TX - have questions

    Hello all,
We're getting bids and feel like we're about ready to make some final decisions. Pool swim area will be 16x32 rectangle, roughly 132' perimeter. Have a few questions:

PB #1 is offering 340 sq ft filter for 504 sq ft of pool space. Doesn't seem to add up? Shouldn't the pool filter size be equal or more than the pool sq ft?

PB #2 swears by 2.5" PVC, 12x24" coping beams, 8" thick walls, 10" deep at the base thickness. Quartzscapes on the pool, pebble on the sun deck. Water feature (3 shear descents) 1.5HP Super II and main pump is a 2HP Tri-Star 2 speed, prologic controls with chemistry automation, quad-cluster cartridge filter. Clear O3 and Ultra UV ozonator - they swear if they're installed correctly with the correct plumbing, they are very effective and worth it (though I've read otherwise on here).

Also are the low voltage LED lights worth it? We had Hayward colorlogics on our old pool and they were expensive to replace.

    TIA

    Question Drains and Paramount JetPak's

I have one pool builder using a combo of 4" main drains and deck-o, and another who swears deck-o's don't look nice, crack, don't move as much water, and that's why they don't use them and only use 4" main drains alone. Any input on this topic?

    Thanks

    Question Paramount JetPak's

Anyone have these? One PB is recommending them, another says they're problematic. Trying to get some real input from those who have or have had them.

    TIA
