    Each manufacture has a gallon rating for their cells and it is somewhat equal but not exact either.

    This link has the amount of chlorine is generated in 24 hours with the output at 100% for most cells, Full Market Comparison of Salt Water Chlorine Generators for Swimming Pools.

    A larger sized cell will last longer as compared to a smaller cell and the larger cell will need less run time to produce the amount of chlorine needed for the pool.

    I recommend to get a cell that is 2 or more times larger than the actual gallon size of the pool.
