Pebble Sheen Colors

We are very close to the end of our pool build and are still deciding on the best color for the pebble sheen. We have a light gray house, acid washed Sequoia Brown (Davis Colors) concrete decking, Sunset Gold Quartzite raised backwall and beach entry and zero plants around the pool. The pool is mostly 3.5 to 4' deep with a small section that is 6 feet. The pool will get nearly all day full sun with the exception of the pool will be shaded partially late afternoon in the Summer by the house, We live in East San Diego County, were the summer high temps in July through September typically range in the 85 - 95 degree range. We love the deep blues you see from Ocean Blue, but do not have a good feel for how much more heating this color will generate over say Blue Granite or Prism Blue or how much more diminished the lights will be at night. Our location is definitely susceptible to Rattlesnakes and we would not want the color to be too dark so as to make them difficult to see. Our pool builder has had a difficult time in arranging for us to see a few pools in our area so our decision process has been mostly via internet searches. We have yet to see live any of the three colors we are most interested in Ocean Blue, Prism Blue and Blue Granite. we would surely appreciate any recommendations from those with any of these three colors.

My PB has lots of pebblesheen pics on their website that might help, http://www.reberandco.com/. It is a myth that dark bottom pools make it harder to see snakes. I don't have any problem seeing the snakes that make their way into our black bottomed pool. Even at night with the light off. They move the water quite a bit when they are stuck in a pool and swimming around.

And welcome to TFP! Roger-Roger, Vector-Victor?
