Are my test toolkits good enough?

Hello, are these test toolkits good enough for my vinyl pool? BTW, is the brand name Leslie's (outside) or Taylor (inside)?

    Thank you!

Kevin, why don't you either take a picture or give us the ingredients/descriptor on each inner container?

Did you mean to post a picture? Here is a link how to do it as I would really like to see what you have to work with.

How to add pictures to a post (full guide with screenshots))

Let me know if this does not work for you.

I am not able to attach another picture of the paper inside the bigger box (DPD Test Kit).

Okay. Hopefully what you have there is fresh. See the link below about checking reagents.

You have everything you need except the FAS-DPD chlorine test. It's the K-1515C. You can get it online or at TFtestkits.

    Also, just pitch those test-strips.

You can use photo bucket to attach more pics OR you can become a TFP supporter and get a discount on a fresh test kit and more photo storage.

Re: Are my test toolkits good enough?

Thanks a lot MarianParoo and Kim. I may just throw those left test kits away and buy Taylor K-2006/Leslie's 81329 or TFTestkitsTF-100 recommended at TFP (http://www.troublefreepool.com/content/124-pool-test-kits-comparison) online.

That would be what I would do. You have no real idea how old there AND if they were kept in a cool, dark place as they need to be.

Yup. Agreed. I wouldn't get the 81329, though. It has 0.75oz. reagent bottles. Get the 2006C or the tf100.

And of the two, the TF-100 helps support the site. Or, become a supporting member, get a discount on the TF-100 and support the site twice......
