Replacing Tired Noisey 2hp 2spd

I`m finally getting around to replacing our Waterway 2hp 2spd pump with the following.

Hayward SP15922S Power-Flo Matrix 1hp 2spd (Like/New) great savings I have never had any issues with damaged box or open box purchases.

The 2hp rated but really power hungry 1.5hp lasted 9yrs with one set of bearings replaced. It will be a backup once replaced.

I`ll update my signature once it is installed most likely 1st week of May.

I am not sure I would wait until May to install it or at least making sure it works as your warranty might be up by then.

Better safe than sorry.
