Can the CYA stay lower in the winter?

the water is cold. Our FC has been 3.5-5. Last water reading was tonight and is:
FC 3.5
no CC
CALC 300
TA 60
CYA 40
pH 7.5,6-ish

Water is crystal clear. Just wondering if it's okay to leave the CYA where it is for now.

Yes, that should be fine. The active chlorine level is lower at lower temperatures (for the same FC/CYA ratio) and there's less sunlight on the pool so a higher CYA isn't needed. You can raise it higher when you open in the spring.
