    Ascorbic acid treatment

    I dont have the ability to put my pump on just circulation. Can I still do AA treatment with it filtering?
    14000 gallon SWG gunite/quartz plaster,450 swimclear cartridge filters, 2hp pump.

    Does your pool have any kind of heater attached to it? You want to bypass anything that is metallic. Your cartridge filter should be fine.

    No heater attached. Just cartridge filter and pump

    Technically, the issue is the low pH and its effects on a copper heat exchanger. The pH isn't actually terribly low so the advice is conservative. Also, if one has a titanium or cupro-nickel alloy heat exchanger there is less risk. In your case with no heater there should be no problem at all.
