Run booster with 2 speed filter on low?

I just installed a 3/4hp cap start/cap run two speed motor on my max E pro filter pump. I'm running a 1/2hp impeller. My intellitouch fires up the pump in high and the intellichlor fires. When the pump goes to low the intellichlor is still happy, which makes me happy.

My question is: is it good practice to run my sweep booster bump while the filter pump is on low?

That should be fine. As long as there's still water coming out of the regular returns while the booster is on, then the booster has enough flow.

If the booster pulls water from before the Intellichlor, then it might shut down the Intellichlor.

Good point. I believe it is after. Pretty sure. I hear this isn't good for the booster pump though. No problems yet as far as I can tell.
