Lighting for in-ground existing pool

Does anyone have any recommendations for lighting an operational in-ground pool? The next time I get a new liner I will get a light installed and wired, but are there any alternatives for the meantime? I have had the flow lights which use the flow from the returns to turn a propeller which then energize a few leds, but they worked maybe 2 months and I think I was lucky to get that much time.

I've been wondering about that myself. All the ones on Amazon seem to be for above ground pools only.

no light in my in-ground too.

There are the flow lights and battery powered lights nether of which appear to last long or provide adequatel amounts of light according to comments in various threads on here and in Amazon reviews.

Its too bad there are not more reliable options than that.

Its simply a function of the large amount of light it takes to properly light up even a small pool. Its more physics than anything else.
