Has anyone ever used this process to get rid of the white ring or calcium build on your pool tile? If so what the outcome, good or bad? Would you recommend doing it? Any side effects? Does it mess with the water balance? What process did you follow when doing it? Thank you in advance for your input.

This guy did it. He used blasting beads instead of baking soda though.
