We just had a new Hot Springs spa installed and are using the ACE saltwater system. When we did the initial set up, we added way too much of the chlorinating concentrate. 
For some reason we both thought we had to add to bring the level down to 3 - 5 ppm. Dumb I know. We were just thinking backwards. So anyway, our chlorine level seems to be off the test strip.
Do we need to partially drain the spa and refill or will the system eventually bring the chlorine level down? I have the output set at a 1 on the ACE system, the lowest output option. Should we just let it sit or should we run the jets?
Any suggestions? I am so darn mad that we were so stupid.
