So my current number on the pool is: FC 18, CC .5, Calcium 1250, TA 90, PH 7.8, CYA 90

I have two options to fill my pool when it gets low and to replace 74% of the water to get the Calcium and CYA down.

Well Water: FC & CC 0, Calcium 675, TA 190, PH 7.2, CYA 0
City Water: FC .5, CC 0, Calcium 500, TA 130, PH 8.2, CYA 0

Thanks for your help.

The well water has no metals.
Mine tested for no metals as well for years. Recently, we had to do an AA treatment to remove the iron deposits from the liner.

I have come to believe that well water (that's all I have access to) is a big problem and I would avoid it.

+1 ;)

Use the city water even if your well tests no metals...even trace amounts over time (as they accumulate due to evaporation) cause problems, tests are not uber reliable, and wells also typically have maganese, which few test for.
