Gap between coping and tile

It can also erode behind the wall of the pool itself. Never overfill or allow the pool to be flooded above the waterline tile, it can cause serious structural problems.

While that is not a very large gap, I would seal it with polyurethane caulk.....readily available at the big box stores.

You could also likely ignore it as I don't think that's big enough to cause any issues.

I forgot this caveat, poly is NOT water soluble so will be harder to work with but it also doesn't have that plastic "gloss" that silicone has.

Additionally, you can often find poly in a "sanded" version which makes it look pretty close to grout.
