Hi all. This is my first post here, so please pardon me being a little green. After several years of research and weighing our options, my husband are going the DIY route in installing a new pool at our Phoenix, AZ home. Everyone who I have encountered on this site has been so helpful when I have reached out, so thank you.
So we got our engineering plans and designs. We have contacted subs for bids. While a decent amount have responded, many have not. Some who have responded haven't responded to my follow up questions, which does not exactly make me feel comfortable about hiring them should I need to contact them once we break ground. Is this experience the norm?
If any AZ folks have great subs who they've had positive experiences with on their builds, I would be eternally grateful if you could share the info
