Poolvergnugen The Pool Cleaner suction side cleaner

One of the You Tubers seems to like the Hayward Poolvergnugen The Pool Cleaner.

it looks to be fairly maintenance free (tires need changing), and it picks up fairly large leaves.

anybody have experience with these? I will be replacing the tires with Vinyl/Fiberglass tires.

That is a highly rated suction side cleaner from all the reports here at TFP. Mine is 5 years old now and the only part that needed to be replaced are one set of tires so far.

Mine is year old. It jammed with debris once and was easy to clear. I run my VS pump at half speed and divert half the flow to the spa so the speed of the cleaner is much lower than spec. The cleaner works great.

how critical are the Vinyl / Fiberglass tires for a vinyl lined pool?
