I need to replace my GLI solid safety pool cover, I had a car drive into my pool. Any suggestions on what I should use, the existing one was 7 years old.

First scoop the car out with a leaf net. Then any manufacturer should be able to make a new cover but the original manufacturer should have the pattern on file. If you go to a new manufacturer, then you would need to either send back the old cover or send A-B measurements of the cover and anchors.
Loop-Loc is good, but expensive. Most manufacturers are pretty good. Even though it's a basic cover, the straps might not have the same spacing.
I'm sensing a story here. What happened? Is everyone OK? Any damage other than to the pool cover?

If you were happy with GLI, then they might be the best choice. Just check with them on the spacing so that the new cover matches exactly. If the cover held up well during the incident, maybe GLI would be willing to barter for the story and pictures. They can put it in their marketing.
All good he ran through the neighbors yard through our fence going about 50 mph and went airborne into the pool. He said his ankle hurt, probably from pushing the gas pedal.
Should I look to buy a cover from a dealer or shop on line. Any suggestions on brand?
