We recently switched from chlorine to GLB Generation Brominating Disinfectant in our indoor pool, mainly due to the cyanuric acid that is a by-product of the chlorine. Since the switch, we have been having a lot of trouble regulating our pH level. Consistently 7.8 or higher. What is the best method for addressing this issue? The pool is heated and is typically 80 or 81 degrees.

Do you have a test kit and test results for TA, CH?
I suspect that if you were using trichlor based tablets, they are acidic and were keeping your pH low. Now without the acidic nature of trichlor, you're having pH rise due to aeration with elevated alkalinity. If you can post test results that would help. You may need to use muriatic acid to lower pH and alkalinity to a more stable level.
If you were to have been chlorinating with bleach (aka liquid chlorine) CYA is not a by-product in that chemical, just hypochlorite and salt.
