    Carysdad - new pump needed

I am currently contracting out for a new build around 10,000 gallons with spa included. Pool company is including a 2hp pump, but I feel like a 1 to 1.5 hp would be fine. Advice appreciated. Thanks

We would need more info. Ie filter size, heater, plumbing run length, attached spa, salt water system, number of returns, etc? Otherwise we're just speculating and we really want to give you use full information.

We could use more details on your system. What sort of items will be included? Spa? Waterfalls? Pressure cleaner? Solar? The power of the pump isn't everything. Perhaps a 2-speed might suit you but we need to know what you have in mind for your pool.
