spill overspa cover

Hi Gang, I have an inground pool with a spill over spa. I put a 55x35 tarp on my pool and I put a 12ft round tarp on my spa and overlap to the pool. Is this proper or is there a better way to close the spa? (besides a custom cover). Also is there any brand of cover that stands out? Thanks

Hi Gang, rookie question I have a spill over spa and am confused in regard to the plumbing. My spa has 6 jets and what looks like a drain on the floor and a drain on the side (both look like the pool drain). What are those black im guessing drains for? Thanks
