Best way to get last few inches of water out of Intex AGP

I have an Intex AGP, drained it with a hose through the drain plug, but there's still a few inches of water in the bottom. What's the best way, or at least some options, to get that last bit of water out of the bottom? Last year i held one end of the pool as high as I could to help push the water to the side with the drain plug open, and it was a miserable experience and took forever haha

Have a shop vac or one you can borrow from a neighbor? Just take the filter out of it before sucking water...

They can also come in handy for blowing water out of lines when you winterize. My Rigid brand from HD has lasted quite a while, it's a 6.5 HP that you can also take the motor assembly off and use as a leaf blower.

I just used a scoop I made from a plastic jug, and a 5 gallon pail. Took me less than an hour to get it all out, and then used towels to soak up the rest (kept wringing them out). Cost me nothing but a little work and time.

I just found that the shop vac hose was too short and I did not want the entire shop vac in the pool with me just in case....

I picked up a small 110v pump. It will draw down to 1/8" of water. Shop vacuumed the rest.
